April 8 Ephesians 2:8-9 God's Gift of Grace  "For by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God" This passage makes me stop and wonder what does God expect from us? It says that all he wants is for us to be faithful, but how often instead do we get caught up in doing things to please God.                 The gift of Grace is so awesome that it does not seem like we are worthy. We can make our selves weary doing our church work but if we do not have faith it is meaningless. God created us to do good but it is our faith that brings us salvation and it is a gift from God. Some times we get so busy living life that we forget who it is who created us and gave us this life and the gift of grace.  Prayer:  Dear God, Please help us to be faithful servants to you and to take the time to "Be still and know that you are our God". It is you who made us and we are yours and that through our faith in you we are saved by your grace.                                                                                                                                                                 Amen Laurie Koulousias
